Admission is possible until 30 minutes before closing time.

free (but there may be a fee for special exhibitions)

January 1st, Lunar New Year's Day, Chuseok (Korean Thanksgiving Day), and every Monday.
Holiday schedule may vary depending on alternative holidays.

Guidelines for visiting
- All areas of the museum are non-smoking
  
  Food, beverages, and pets are prohibited, except for guide dogs.
  
  Please turn off or switch your mobile phone to silent mode before you enter the exhibition halls.
  
  Please refrain from speaking loudly and running in the exhibition halls.
  
  Please refrain from touching or damaging any artifacts and exhibits.
  
  Taking photographs using flash light, tripod, selfie stick, or gimbal and taking photographs for commercial use are strictly prohibited.
  
  Photography or videotaping for commercial purposes requires advanced written permission from the museum.
  
  Riding a bicycle, kickboard, skateboard, skating and wheeled shoes are prohibited.

Visitor Services
- * Wheelchairs and strollers are available.
  
  Wheelchairs are for young children, seniors, and visitors with disabilities.
  
  Strollers are only available for children weighing up to 15kg.
  
  Strollers and wheelchairs can be rented by leaving an ID or credit card at our information desk on the first floor.
  * Lockers are available next to the Museum shop.
  * The lactation room is located between main entrance and rest rooms.

- Our permanent exhibition is designed to be multisensory to engage more visitors!

  Our exhibition spaces are built based on universal design standards to ensure maximum convenience and comfort for all.
  
  Sensory experience
  
  Our exhibition includes many tactile and sensory displays.
  
  The Hunmaengjeongeum section is equipped with both Braille panels and panels engraved with hangeul characters.
  
  Sensory table
  
  Mockups of tactile displays are arranged on this table to be explored with fingertips.
  
  The sensory table provides exhibition information in diverse forms including tactile and audio descriptions and digital pads.
  
  Sign language videos
  
  The Hunmaengjeongeum section offers sign language videos.

Lost-and-Found Center
- A notification for each lost article is posted on our website for 7 days.
  
  Pursuant to the Lost Articles Act, valuables and electronic devices are kept for 7 days and other articles for 2 weeks from
  the date of submission at our Lost-and-Found Center and then transmitted to the police station with jurisdiction.
